Liquids can be heated by direct contact with steam either in pipelines (inline) or inside vessels (intank). Heating is extremely efficient and virtually silent.

INLINE STEAM HEATING
Inline steam injection heating is used to heat liquids flowing in a pipe, for example the liquid at the inlet of the heater is 55C and at the outlet will be 75C, this is achieved by direct injection of steam through a carefully designed bucket diffuser where steam is injected through multiple small (2-10mm) holes. The bucket diffuser is necessary to avoid steam hammer within the pipeline. Applications of inline heaters include:

INTANK STEAM HEATING
Intank heaters are fitted inside vessels and steam is introduced directly into the heater. The hot discharge fluid from the heater serves to circulate and mix the contents of the tank. We supply intank heaters for the following applications:
